Rules of use and maintenance
There are general rules of maintenance and upkeep applicable to any material that makes upholstered furniture. Following and adhering to a few simple guidelines will help to prolong the life of your furniture and ensure satisfaction with its use:
- Furniture should be used in accordance with its intended use and the rules of use. Avoid sitting on armrests, standing on seats, backrests or individual spring bars , do not jump.
- Furniture should be used in normal microclimate conditions, i.e. air humidity of 40-80 % and temperature of 10-35° C.
- Proper, stable positioning of the furniture on a well levelled floor is also required.
- The method of assembly of the furniture, the number of components and assembly accessories, is specified in the assembly instructions for the furniture in question.
- Do not place hot objects directly on the furniture.
- Avoid contact with the furniture: alcohols, solvents and other chemicals.
- Place the furniture at least 1 m away from active heat sources.
- The surface of the furniture should be cleaned with a slightly damp, soft cloth.
- When using the furniture, excessive individual pressure on the soft upholstery elements is not allowed (e.g. jumping on the sofa seats, sitting on the side edges, etc.). The upholstery surfaces of individual pieces of furniture may show creases and corrugations that can be spread by hand during normal use. In order to use the furniture effectively, care should be taken to ensure that the set is used evenly. In particular, in furniture with two or more seats, the use of only one seat should be avoided to prevent differences in the appearance of the entire set.
- During use, discolouration may appear on upholstery as a result of natural processes of colour pigment loss in areas subject to intensive use (cleaning), as well as in areas exposed to sunlight. These defects are not the responsibility of the manufacturer.
- Fold-out sofa furniture is not intended for everyday sleeping but for occasional sleeping (it does not replace a bed).
- Before unfolding it for the first time, make sure that the transport protection has been removed.
- It is forbidden for children to unfold and fold the furniture functions by themselves.
- Avoid direct contact of the fabric or eco leather with human body sweat and animal and vegetable fats.
